Welcome, I'm Michelle
My path to counselling
My path to counselling began through my own experience of how important connection and being witnessed can be during life’s challenges. When we are moving through pain, grief, uncertainty, or significant life transitions, it can be easy to feel alone in our experience.
I became a counsellor with the intention of creating a space where people feel heard, supported, and understood as they navigate these moments.
Understanding life transitions
As a woman who has followed her own unique life path, I understand that life does not always unfold according to expectations.
These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the many ways a meaningful life can take shape and inform my work supporting women through the complexities of identity, relationships, loss, change, and the social and personal expectations that can influence how we see ourselves throughout different seasons of life.
My approach
My approach is collaborative, gentle, and grounded in curiosity and respect for your lived experience.
I draw from person-centred and mindfulness-based approaches, with an awareness of how stress, emotions, and life experiences can be held in the body.
Together, we work at a pace that feels supportive, allowing space to gently explore greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and connection to yourself.
